Welcome esteemed guests to my Digital Garden, aka, my personal knowledge wiki, my second brain, my lich-lord phylactery. Here, like many others, I am choosing to reject linear timelines as best as I can, to grow beyond the constraints of contemporary social media and blogging platforms.
I am consolidate my writings and carefully refine them over time to be their best versions. I curate, I grow, and I prune. You are welcome to explore this garden and share what you find (please do attribute and link back to this site).
Let’s grow together. Or maybe you’re just here for entertainment. I am something of a comedian and satirist, and I write pretty good cosmic folk horror and sci-fi fantasy flash fiction if I do say so myself.
How do I Navigate the Website?
A Digital Garden or Personal Knowledge Wiki, is built around contextual rather than chronological architecture.
Much like any wiki; categories, tags, and backlinks are used to network related content. This will help you (and me) freely explore my Second Brain. This is a work in progress, I am slowly weaving a web that extends beyond this site and connects to the internet at large.
To help you get situated, I have on my home page displayed both Recently Updated Posts, and New Posts. This way, you can check up on old articles that have been expanded, whilst exploring new ones.
How do I stay up to date with your content?
You have TWO FREE subscription choices.
1) You can subscribe to this website to receive email updates whenever I post. This is the unfiltered brain-feed, the closest you get to being in my brain.
2) OR you can subscribe to just my specialty Newsletter, CYBERNULL ✘ LIBER SYNCRETIC. It is a more curated experience, with weekly content. It will be posted here and mirrored on Substack.
I know that subscribing is a big ask for some of y’all. You can also donate to help support me instead :3
Learning in Public?
I am not trying to practice in secret and then post perfect results. I am learning as I go, writing spontaneously on many subjects. I cannot guarantee my posts are perfect, or the most accurate. But I will refine and update my posts over time to reflect my understanding.
Where possible for my posts, I will add epistemic checks (ie, where I get my sources of knowledge, and how reliable), and a completion level (whether the idea is a merely seed or a grown tree). This transparency and accountability is part of digital gardening.
