“Am I worried about the heavy karma of CAPITALISM™ the longer I remain in the business of exploiting poor people in other countries so we can all afford luxury goods like coffee, and increase the profit margins of this company? Yeah, kind of. But I am also the victim here. I am not Brian McBodhi, the CEO of Corpo-Dharma. I am just a marketing executive who gets paid pretty well, but what am I supposed to do— am I supposed to hate that I do well in this economy whilst others suffer? I am the mother of three, I have bills to pay. We all have to compromise with the system, whether we’re anarchists or marxists. Don’t hate me. Hate Brian. I pray to a sticker of Comrade Guan Yin everyday on my way to work. I hope that will do some good for me. Maybe.”
